Dr. Rudy Scarfalloto
Dr. Rudy Scarfalloto brings over 36 years of experience to his work as a health professional and teacher, including 29 years as a chiropractor. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree at Life College in 1984. He specializes in low-force chiropractic for the relief of chronic pain, stiffness, headaches and rehabilitation from auto accidents, athletic and work related injuries. he works with individuals with internal conditions, such as asthma, indigestion, blood sugar issues, menstrual difficulties and high blood pressure.
He incorporates nutrition in his practice to support his chiropractic work, as well as to guide his patients to achieve optimum health. His overall nutritional philosophy is in keeping with the teachings of Hippocrates, the recognized father of modern medicine who said, "Let food be your medicine, and medicine your food." Dr. Rudy does guide his patients in the proper use of herbs and supplements, but with the ultimate goal of reducing or eliminating all supplements and simply using food and exercise to maintain optimum health.
Dr. Rudy's teaching interests include three seminars for massage therapists and other body workers called Visceral Technique, Muscle Testing for Body Therapists and Nutrition for Massage Therapists. For the general public, he teaches a seminar called What Should I Eat?
In addition to his chiropractic practice and teaching, Dr. Scarfalloto also writes. His life-long fascination with the workings of the mind and body led to the writing and publishing of his books, The Dance of Opposites, Cultivating Inner Harmony, The Edge of Time, Nutrition for massage Therapists, and What Should I Eat?
